Chattanooga, TN (October 16, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon, October 14, to a crash involving a large truck and a Jeep on Interstate 24 eastbound near the split with Interstate 75.

According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the collision happened around 12:30 p.m. and left one man injured. Responding officers reported that the male victim suffered head pain after the impact. Paramedics provided medical care at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Traffic along Interstate 24 slowed for several miles as crews cleared the damaged vehicles and ensured the roadway was safe for drivers. Authorities worked to investigate the cause of the crash and determine what factors may have led to the collision between the truck and Jeep.
