Chattanooga, TN (October 8, 2025) – A school bus crash in Chattanooga left one child injured on Tuesday afternoon, October 7, prompting a large emergency response near North Terrace and Spring Creek Road.

According to the Chattanooga Police Department, the crash occurred around 1 p.m. near the intersection of North Terrace and Spring Creek Road. Responders arrived within minutes and found a child lying face down near the crash scene. Paramedics quickly provided emergency medical care and transported the child to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Police and firefighters worked together to manage traffic around the intersections of Spring Creek, Miller, and North Terrace as they secured the area and began their investigation. Crews inspected the bus for additional injuries and ensured all other students were safe. 

The exact cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
