Chattanooga, TN (December 26, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on Friday, December 26, left one man injured in downtown Chattanooga, according to local dispatch reports. The crash occurred around 5:36 a.m. near East Third Street.

The Chattanooga Police Department and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene after reports confirmed a two-car crash with injuries. Dispatch information identified a 46-year-old male driver as the injured party. Responders found the man alert but experiencing rib pain following the collision. Officials also reported that he had temporarily lost consciousness after the impact.

Medical crews evaluated the driver at the scene and discussed options for transport to a trauma facility. No additional injuries were reported, and officials did not release information about the second driver involved.
