Hamilton County, TN (November 20, 2025) – One person died Wednesday, November 19, after a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Dayton Pike, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to the scene at the request of the Soddy Daisy Police Department after reports of a major collision.

The initial investigation shows that a Nissan Altima turned across Dayton Pike and collided with a motorcycle traveling south. The impact threw the rider from the motorcycle. Emergency crews arrived quickly and rushed the motorcyclist to a medical facility. Despite efforts to save their life, the rider later died from the injuries they suffered.

Deputies confirmed they are withholding further information until the victim's family receives notification. Officials have not released details about the driver of the Altima or whether any charges will follow. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate and will release updates as more information becomes available.
