Kingsport, TN (April 20, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a crash with injuries early Saturday morning on Interstate 81 in Kingsport.

At around 8:29 a.m. on April 20, a collision involving at least one vehicle took place on the northbound side of Interstate 81 near mile marker 59. Authorities rushed to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. The Tennessee Highway Patrol, along with local fire and EMS units, provided aid to at least one individual who suffered injuries during the incident.
