Knoxville, TN (November 19, 2025) – Three people were taken to the hospital on Wednesday morning, November 19, after a crash involving a Knoxville Area Transit bus and a City of Knoxville Public Service truck. The collision happened at the intersection of South Concord Street and Kingston Pike, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Officials reported that the city truck stopped at a red light when the KAT bus traveled toward the intersection and struck the trailer the truck was towing. The impact caused damage to both vehicles and left several people with injuries. The bus driver, one passenger, and a city employee were all transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.
