Madisonville, TN (September 17, 2025) – A fatal hit-and-run accident occurred on Oak Grove Road near Lincoln Drive in Madisonville on Tuesday night, September 16, leaving a pedestrian dead.

The Madisonville Police Department responded to the crash around 11:30 p.m. Authorities report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing Oak Grove Road. Sadly, the victim later succumbed to their injuries.

At this time, the police have no information regarding the vehicle involved in the incident. The Madisonville Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating the auto and its driver. 

Investigators are working to gather any additional details that may help identify the responsible party.
