Memphis, TN (January 22, 2026) – On Tuesday, January 20, around 12:00 p.m., a tragic crash at the intersection of South Mendenhall Road and Fox Plaza Drive claimed two lives.

The Memphis Police later confirmed that two people injured in the crash were pronounced dead on Wednesday. Surveillance video obtained by local media shows that a third vehicle may have also been involved. The footage reportedly captures a car pulling out from a nearby apartment complex before being struck from the side by an SUV traveling along South Mendenhall Road. Moments later, a red sports car appears to collide with the vehicles.
