Nashville, TN (January 16, 2026) – A fatal crash occurred on Friday, January 16, around 2 a.m., on Old Hickory Boulevard near Zermatt Avenue in south Davidson County.

Emergency crews from the Metro Nashville Police Department and fire units responded promptly to the scene. The accident involved two vehicles, and a male passenger in one of the cars was killed at the scene. One of the vehicles reportedly collided with a utility pole during the accident. Multiple ambulances were dispatched, and both basic and advanced life support teams provided medical care on-site. 

Westbound lanes reopened around 6:15 a.m., while eastbound drivers were advised to avoid the area until crews cleared the wreckage. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
