Nashville, TN (January 2, 2026) – A serious three-vehicle crash in the Madison area of Nashville sent one driver to the hospital with critical injuries early Friday morning, January 2.

The collision occurred around 5:25 a.m. along Old Hickory Boulevard. Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department Madison Precinct responded to the scene after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries. Nashville Fire Department medical personnel also arrived to provide emergency care.

According to authorities, the crash involved three vehicles. A pickup truck and a small blue car remained on Old Hickory Boulevard following the collision. A third vehicle, described as a small black car, left the roadway and came to rest in the parking lot of the Madison Church of Christ.

Emergency responders assessed those involved and focused treatment on one injured man. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Officials did not release information about the identities of the individuals involved or the extent of injuries to others at the scene.

Police secured the area while investigators reviewed vehicle damage and roadway evidence. Crews temporarily closed eastbound lanes of Old Hickory Boulevard to allow for investigation and debris removal. Traffic along Gallatin Pike North continued without disruption.
