Nashville, TN (November 21, 2025) – A Metro Nashville Public Schools bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday, November 20, at the intersection of Rural Hill Road and Hickory Highlands Drive, leading to multiple children being taken to the hospital for evaluation. Officers at the scene said the crash happened during the afternoon hours and involved the school bus and two additional vehicles.

When police and emergency crews arrived, they found substantial cosmetic damage to one of the vehicles and noticeable front-end damage to the school bus. Officers confirmed that children on the bus were transported to a local hospital, although the exact number of injured students and the severity of their injuries remain unclear. 

Crews worked to assess the situation, check the condition of each child, and secure the crash site. Officers gathered information from drivers and witnesses while medical responders provided care to the students. Traffic slowed as responders worked around the bus and the damaged vehicles, but the roadway remained passable once the scene was controlled.
